About Kristen DeMaggio, APRN, FNP-C

Kristen DeMaggio, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner providing primary care for adults and seniors at The Doctors Center in Jacksonville, Florida. With over 10 years of experience in healthcare, Kristen’s passion was shaped by the strong women in her family—including her mother, aunts, and sisters, all nurses—who modeled compassion, resilience, and service. Kristen earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing, preparing her to deliver thoughtful, patient-centered primary care focused on prevention, chronic disease management, and long-term wellness.

Kristen’s diverse clinical background includes years as a travel nurse across the United States, as well as work as a scuba instructor and medic on marine science research expeditions—experiences that deepened her appreciation for different cultures, lifestyles, and health needs. Known for her collaborative, open approach, she values building meaningful relationships and caring for the whole person, not just symptoms. A Jacksonville native and graduate of Paxon School for Advanced Studies, Kristen is proud to serve her hometown community and provide compassionate primary care for adults, seniors, and Medicare patients. Outside of the office, she enjoys cheering on the Jaguars with her family and paddleboarding along Jacksonville’s waterways.
