About Stanley Guerrero, APRN

Stanley Guerrero, APRN, is a Family Nurse Practitioner providing primary care for adults and seniors with The Doctors Center in Aventura, Florida. With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, his calling to medicine began early—at just 10 years old—when he felt a strong desire to help people heal both physically and emotionally. Originally from Colombia, Stanley earned his medical degree from Juan N. Corpas School of Medicine in Bogotá and began caring for patients in primary care settings, later expanding his experience across emergency and hospital-based care. This broad medical background continues to shape his thoughtful, well-rounded approach to primary care.

After relocating to the United States, Stanley continued his lifelong commitment to patient care through multiple clinical roles, including work as a Mental Health Technician at Mount Sinai Medical Center, a Surgical Assistant, and later as a registered nurse at Palmetto General Hospital. Determined to continue practicing medicine, he completed both his associate degree and Master of Science in Nursing at Miami Regional University and went on to serve as an APRN at Florida Community Health Centers. Stanley believes patients deserve the very best from their healthcare providers—both clinically and humanly—and views caring for others as a responsibility he honors every day. Fluent in English and Spanish, and board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, he provides compassionate, patient-centered primary care for adults and seniors in the Aventura community, including those navigating Medicare.
