About Amparo Calderon, APRN

Amparo Calderon, APRN, combines empathy, dedication, and experience in her role at The Doctors Center. After earning her Medical Doctor degree in Colombia in 1996, she spent a decade providing compassionate care in hospitals and clinics. Upon moving to the U.S., she spent several years in Medicare Advantage Care as a Clinical Documentation Specialist, gaining valuable insights into senior care and healthcare systems. In 2023, she returned to clinical practice, earning her Nurse Practitioner License.

Guided by values of empathy, integrity, and lifelong learning, Amparo creates a trusting, respectful environment where patients feel heard and cared for. Her genuine interest in their well-being makes her a provider patients can rely on for personalized, attentive care.
