About Jorge Pupo, APRN

With over 20 years of experience, Nurse Practitioner Jorge Pupo specializes in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, bringing a deep commitment to patient care. Inspired by his mother’s devotion to family, he pursued medicine with a passion for helping those with chronic conditions. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Miami Regional University in 2022 and is board-certified in Florida. Before joining The Doctors Center in Jacksonville, he trained at the University of Havana, Cuba, honing his expertise in Primary Care and Geriatric Medicine.

Believing in the power of empathy, NP Pupo builds meaningful connections with his patients, addressing both their physical and emotional needs. He fosters an environment of trust, sharing personal experiences to create a collaborative healthcare journey. Outside of work, he enjoys soccer, baseball, romantic and salsa music, and quality time with family and friends.
